great looking phantom, the weathering looks very realistic and not overdone to me
just one question: what supermetallics did you use? you mention Hansa supermetallics but i could not find anything related
what can i say, Phantoms are always great. and this one looks really good. very nice weathering. love the work on the metal area
Just great and my next kit to do so very interested in your build and nice set of photos to show it off. Have not done a Tamiya kit for a while so looking forward to a hassle free assembly!. Again well done on yours.

Hello everyone There was always a desire to build a Phantom. Well, what can I say, Tamiya is Tamiya, perhaps this is the best thing I've ever built. A very thoughtful set with excellent detail, for the first time I did not use putty. I decided to add resin nozzles and wheels from ResKit + cockpit from Quinta Studio. Independently modified the chassis niches with wiring, added a drill lights, replaced the hydraulic rods of all the racks with metal ones. I chose Gunze Sangyo as the base paints, I like this paint more and more every time. Acted from the dark ground, highlighting panels and areas. I used only two supermetallics from the same Hansa, one dark, the second brighter and lighter. Varnishes from Tamiya, tinting with oil paints and pastel crayons. Resin details are easily installed in their places, as well as decals from Quinta Studio, everything is clearly in the size of a whale. Thank you!
