Nice paintjob. But the decal of the star has to be placed on the folding part of the wing. Maybe the instructions from trumpeter are wrong?

Yes Taylor, the decals instructions from HB are wrong. I think the decals are smaller than the real thing too. All the decals are so soft. So a lot of them have been broken during the application. I have another pair of stars for the wings that is included in the sheet, but I think that it is almost imposible to remove them after applying Micro-Set/Micro-Soft solutions. The surface behind the decals is marked, including all the rivets. If anyone knows how to remove them, without affecting the paint, please let me know, I will welcome.

Thanks Murad, but a lot of problems during decaling, the worst the red caution arrows near the air intakes.

Lukasz, yes it's marked as decal removal, but I think that after Micro-Sol, the decals are impossible to be removed with it.

Ok. Decals removed with soft sand sponge after using a litter Micro Set. New picture included.

Red band painted on tail after a light gloss varnish coat and again problems with decals. Some bits added to masking take. Removing some of them from it using Micro-Set. Waiting to dry on decal sheet to get the other ones 😉

Nice steps until now. Like your weathering really. But, again I have something to complain. Beside of the nose, which is a little bit to pointy, is the HB Corsair a lovely little kit with nice details. BUT, never, really never use the ordnance from HB! The tanks, the bombs, they are misshapen and completely wrong. Would be a shame on your lovely Corsair. Greetings from Germany

In this case, the ordnance is not a problem for me. You don't know, but I am really a newbie. I am doing kits OOB with some little modifications or addons. In the future, it will be time to do accurate models, do more scratch-building or add complements. Meanwhile, I am learning the basic steps to do a model.

You're a newbie and you're doing THIS????? WOW!!! I can only dream I'm at your current level and not messing things up all the time. Your Corsair looks gorgeous OOB, I can only imagine what you'll do when you get 'the hang of it'. 😉

This is my 15th model after coming back to hobby since I was a child. Thanks four your words. But, I think that I have a lot of things to learn and mistakes to correct. You have here albums for all my models except the 1st one.

This is turning out to be one of the finest A-7 models I have seen. Very nice preshading technique, I cannot seem to be able to slray such thin and straight lines.

Your paintjob is marvellous - time to add some aftermarket with the next build 🙂
The kit ejection seat is not really up to the paint standard
