Short Stirling mk.III BK704
One half of a horizontal tail was missing, but a 1/48 scale P-47 wing looks right for the job.
The small windows are made from two component transparant resin, which becomes rock hard and is easy to file, sand and polish.
I start with taping transparant strips to the inside of the fuselage.

From the outside I drip the resin in. When it has hardened I can remove the tape and transparant strip.
There was no interior in the box, so on to scratch building again.
And now masking of hundreds of windows...
Primed and mottled
Colors are on! Making a black finish look interesting is difficult.
On a photo it's not that interesting. You have to see it with your own eyes.
Next is polishing and clear coating
Finally done! Big relief!
I polished the canopy, getting rid of the frame, so I could use masking for the Italeri Stirling.

I like the addition of the tractor and bomb trolleys.Interesting fact is that the Stirling was Britains biggest bomber of the second world war.

@David: I got this kit as part of the payment for my Fokker T.V, but the box wasn't complete. Both the interior and tractor and the bomb trolleys are missing!
