Ito's Zero Wreck - In Progress

Initial build of the cockpit and fuselage. (12 April 2022). 

After modification of the fuselage using a Dremel then rejoining and initial filling. (17 April 2022). 

After sanding and rough painting of the cockpit interior. Long grass for the diorama had also arrived. (21 April 2022). 

After work over the weekend painting in overall AS-12 then adding a rough wash of XF-85. All in an effort to show scuffs and tarnishing etc, while retaining some level of reflection from the bare metal. Grass on the planned base will cover up to about half-way (or higher in some places) along the fuselage. (26 April 2022).
