Looking good in that red. I was going to ask why you have the driver's side mirror on the wing instead of the door like on the other side, then I looked in my instructions and saw that it's supposed to be like that. I put mine on the door. The instructions don't show the right side mirror clearly except in the painting section, and there were no locating holes or indentations for them. I used some brass rod to pin mine to the doors. The headlight covers on mine are reluctant to sit up in the fully closed position. I had a few issues getting the body to sit nicely on the chassis. I wish they'd put some sort of lug to hold it all together. How did you find the metal JAGUAR stickers? Mine wanted to stick to the backing tape, but not to the car. They look nice, but are a real pain to use. Otherwise, it's a nice model to build.

I like the last picture. How cool in such different colors. This red one looks pretty sharp.

Istvan , Christian thank you so much. Last time I built a model care before this was 2016, but I wanted to re do the smoke tint on the plastic and it completely went the complete opposite say, therefore I wanted to replace the windshield kit and ended up getting other kits in the process!! Growing up I always thought the actual Jag was purple but then I realized it was closer to Monza red than purple

David, Those intructions can be tricky and with this kit being so old, they missed out on a few crucial details about this kit! The headlights on mine can be wedged in for open and closing, but you are right, this is a primate kit that had fitting issues, but I prefer this over italeri. Like I mentioned I got a few jaguar model kits from Asia and they had the metal transfers, I got lucky that way but you can also buy jaguar metal transfers from other third party model car stores! Great idea on the rods for the mirrors, they do fall off easily and will upgrade a few kits that way, thank you!!!
