Had to choose to put on the regostration numbers OR do some light weathering.
I think it's pretty clear which one I choose.?

About pic #8: nothing going on there 🤣🤭 Just our puppy (!!) girl laying on her big friend...and yes, that is the truth.

The windows, about 11 pieces, are a real PITA! Vacformed windows don't have the word "co-operation" in their dictionairies! 🤪
3 Done so far, 6 to go before I can put the fuselage halves together.

two tipps from others here on scalemates: put sellotape on the outside and fill the window hole with a clear material. Some had good experiences with plain Micro Krystal Clear, others recommend clear 2 part epoxy. I have not tried any of these yet, but I think I would prefer one of those techniques over fumbling with the vacuum windows.

@Michael: Used your tip for the windows, I just used PVA glue dilluted with water...guess some windows need to be done again.

Maybe I just do not see it, but did you put a sellotape on the outside of the window hole befor you put the PVA glue?

Ehh..no, I didn't. I had physics do its job and created a sort of "foil" of the liquid. Windows are small enough for it.

Great progress!
May I ask what are the black lines on the model?

Got the camo from 2 pictures, which I placed here. The colors were picked from the stash and are as close to the original as I could find. Avoiding to buy new paint 😉
