A bit on the thick side maybe, ive has it for at least 7 years now so a couple of them cracked where the raised details were too tall for them to conform to, im sure they would have been far better new. These ones have a fair bit of silvering but i think thats more to do with the varnish i used being dissolved by the micro sol and set. ive had the same issue with the mustang recently which is also about the same age.

Thanks Sam, I am looking forward to building the same kit next year. I have been dragging mine around for 20 years now, so I am sure the decals are going to be a bit of an issue. Two things I have learned about Tamiya decals is;
- Use HOT water
- Use a decal solvent made in Japan.
There are always going to be thick, but seem to work better, if I follow those tips.
