@Michael Kohl. Thank you. The base is for another kit Mi-24. I just borrowed it to get some idea. I will probably do a new base for the Mi-8.

@ Łukasz Gliński thank you! You are right. I only noticed the canopy issue after it was put on. I felt it was bit too late and too risk for all the surgical work. If I knew it earlier, I might consider using the PE to correct it, definitely a scary and dangerous task with sanding scraping and polishing.
