Cabin ready, weathered and prepared body to apply decals.
After decals applied where necessary will apply 2K Diamond Finish varnish from Zero Paints

1st fit test of body into chassis- perfect fit
Next step - varnish body, assemble cabin and glass into body.
Then, after these previous steps, fit body into chassis permanently

Don't forget you can gently sand the gloss coat, The dust has to be removed from the panel lines with a brush before adding another layer of gloss coat, else the dust is glued fixed inside the panel lines.

Good advice, thanks i will do it as i want to make it as perfect as i am able to.
This truck will go into a resin table project so it will be sunk in epoxy resin and therefore many details will be faded away with the process.
I am simultaneously designing and conceiving the base and the diorama but i can release some intel - like many tables a divided in two log for each side to give beauty and stability when attaching legs - the middle will be like a road in the desert with advertisements on each side attached to the logs with the album covers and printed on the road behind the truck a list of their discography
I am just not sure if i will be able to include led strips on both sides of the road as i am still not comfortable in that area of expertise
I am open to advice if anyone wants to share their thoughts with me

One of my favorite bands. I wish the manufacturers would (don't take this wrong) take this scale seriously. What I mean is, the hollow backed tires, simplified details, and always a curbside model (I could live with that) makes the level of scratch building out of reach for most.
