Ferrari F12 berlinetta

Fujimi Kits are hits or misses, this one was the worst because despite cleaning the plastic and oil residue, the paint would not stick. I had to remove the paint 3 times and sand the base down a bit, to get the spray to stick.
The main body's plastic was actually fine but the sprue with the openings gave me the problems.

This kit also had pre painted photo etch pieces that were offset when it was printed, I tried my best, I was frustrated from the paint running after two coats, I only took a couple of pictures of the problem, but the paint wouldn't stick after using degreaser, thinner and alcohol. I almost gave up, luckily after 3 coats, it evened out, but I had to overspray clear also to cover some of it up. Since the instructions were in Japanese, it didn't tell me that the door hinge was optional, and I did all that work for nothing when I could just had glued it from the get-go.

I've similar issues like this before but not that bad, I should had bought that Tamiya base spray in the future!
