Hi all,

I finally got around to paint the ship today. The monochrome scheme has received some drybrushing, some washing and some accentuation of the deck. I´ll let everything dry now and then revisit it. It´s always difficult to find the right level of weathering and enhancing - I don´t want it to look theatrical, but credible. I used Vallejo´s PU primer, Vallejo ModelAir´s Grey Primer and Intermediate Blue, plus Humbrol thinners and ochre, dark brown and medium grey artist´s oils.

More progress: Now virtually all subassemblies have been installed. Next will be adding anchor chain, railings, aircraft crane and finally rigging. Oh, and the two itty bitty decals ...
