Mil Mi-26 Halo "United Nations"

I finally managed to build this colossus before my departure overseas.

kit was pretty good to handle, only the exhaust nozzles, which are attached to a flat surface inside the fuselage and would press against the molds and keeping it together without zipties or other means was impossible, so I cut the whole part and just glued nozzles separately to the fuselage.

lost some ladders during the process unfortunately.

windshield also didnt fit properly but I can blame it on myself, rather on a kit.

tools used:
offbrand tweezers and my wife's brushes.
Vallejo Model Air paints (but i brush it anyway)
half bottle of white paint went on the fuselage, flat black for exhaust rectangle and nozzles.
Vallejo rubber black on tires
medium grey on the rotors and assembly
homemade panel wash from pastels and distilled water
made rivets from handmate tool - sewing needle glued to a pen which took me 2 nights to do whole kit, its huge.

weathered with white spirit and random oil paints.
also used white pencil for some spots.
