F-14A Black Tomcat

Revell's Black Tomcat in 144th scale is a great tiny model. I liked the crisp details and how the construction went together pretty well, with almost no filling and sanding required. After having the paint job finished, I found that attaching the underwing pylons proved to be the most difficult step (lot of retries and cursing was required 🙂. Last, but not least - Revell's decals were terrible, after several attempts to apply the thick decals on the tiny missiles I just gave up. I also failed to paint them by hand, so after having the missiles coat stripped 3 times I finally left them in plain color only.
