FridayAgainFeeling lucky to have gotten this kit, been out of stock for a looong time (2015 kit) - was checking the MFH website as I do, seeing the usual kits that have been in stock for months, when I refreshed and saw one solitary unit come in stock out of nowhere. Not sure what the story is as it doesnt seem they did a new run, just one put up. I had to have it, and here it is. Absolutely massive kit, came in at 9 pounds according to fedex, all my other kits from Hiro have been about 4. You can see it absolutely dwarf the BT52 box on the desk. Very excited to start this project probably sometime next year.

FridayAgainHaven't been good about progress pictures... oops. Engine is pretty much finished, need to connect up a few things and fix a couple of odd bits, but I think it came out pretty decently.

FridayAgainWell its finished, rather lousy at taking pictures with my iphone... but the car looks good enough that it makes up for it. I do not know how to fix the sideways pictures on Scalemates so I suppose you'll have to tilt your neck for some of the engine photos. Really fun kit, I don't think I did a great job, but I get better after each one, and I definitely learned a lot on this one. Hopefully now I can muster up the strength to finish the Abarth...

To fix your sideways pictures, go to your album, at the top of the picture you will see "Images: Upload|Manage", click on "Manage", then you will see "Advanced Options". Click on that, then choose which way you want to show the pic. Done!

FridayAgainI appreciate the engagement with the kit, I'm having a lot of fun working on it. Haven't had much time outside of my weekends to work on the kit which has both slowed me down and sped me up in terms of the progress. I've been a bit impatient on the weekends so I can "maximize my build time" and I think my quality has suffered to an extent, nothing major but I do wish this was perfect, I guess that's what we always chase though eh? I'm absolutely in love with MF Hiro and I think this should pull together into something pretty cool when its all finished.
