I build the Emden about 17 years ago and I really loved that ship. Cat threw it from the board and it felt like a big loss.
I was more than cheering when it came out again together with the Dresden.
I am normally shy about buying after market products, especially when they cost double the price of the kit. In this case I had to have the PEs from Eduard. These are just too great (and small).

Marc SchimmlerI couldn't wait to start this one. I love the original ship, a like the kit and I am really looking forward to use the fantastic PE sets from Eduard ....

Marc SchimmlerI liked the wooden deck but it missed the precision of the Eduard PE part. Using my cutting plotter I scribed a deck structure into 0.3mm PS sheet. The scribe lines have been highlighted by a brown oil wash.
