I want to recreate a pencil sketch my grandfather made of a plane he managed to ditch in Corfu, Greece in November 1940 - there's a tiny copy of it online at [img1]. Going to have to learn an awful lot before I have a proper go at this - esp the watery diorama I'm planning!

That is truly an interesting project of an exciting adventure your grandfather had! Makes the diorama so much more real, so much more true and so much more unique!

That sounds promising and fascinating! I will be pleased to see any new pictures to that unique biographic diorama

Well I'm only in the 'dreaming about it' stages right now! I've only recently started modelling again, and realise that to do a good job of this I have a lot of skills to learn - and not much free time in my life! But I will keep this updated when I make a start. Thanks for your kind comments!
