During April 1945 Magdeburg was attacked by 30th US- Infantry Division and 2nd US- Armored Division. Inspired by this picture taken during the advance at the outskirts of Magdeburg my next Diorama idea was born. [img1]
For me the scene has a strong atmosphere as the GI´s were in preparation of the attack and fight, but examining the town sign of Magdeburg like almost tourists.
