Bad kit. First of all the fit of the wings to the body is very problematic. Dito for the cowlings to the wings. The difference of the panel line depth and width between the winds and the body is incredible. You could drive a Corgi Toys car in the wing panels of the real plane. Then the tail wheel is one piece which i didn't like. So far the critics for ICM, the tool maker. Then critics to Revell: First of all they fool the modelers with the color, for RLM74 they gave a dark green instead of a Gray-Green. This is ridiculous!. Of course i've used the right colors (Gunze H68/69). Then to the decals: this decal sheet was one of the worst i've had in my life. The red was out of grid, the decals were brittle, texts were unclear, the Balkenkreuz on the wings was wrong. My kit looks more like a toy now... Shame on both companies...

Uh oh. I see that the ICM's kit of the Dornier 215B-4, is the base for this Revell kit of yours (according to Scalemates' kit history). Hrm, at least I will have to check with reviews on that ICM one, to figure out if that same issue are there as well. One issue is ofc the price of a kit, the other issue would be not getting what I wanted. Heh, I have enough of fix-it-up kits as it is.

I have the Do 17z from ICM which this kit is derived from and fit looks good.Possibly Revells process.
