1/72 Corgi Autogryo Europe Calidus 09 G-ARZB
Big Nellie Mk.II

This is the Corgi 1/43 Little Nellie converted into 1/72 scale using only a Hawk T.1 ejection Seat.
The cockpit panel and joystick were the correct size for 1/72 anyway.

The story is the owner of HHrAviation wanted a James Bond Little Nellie to have as one of his own personal collection but couldn't get a genuine one.
So he bought a single Seat Autogyro Europe Calidus 09 and had it converted.
This means it is about 20/30% larger than the movie vehicle.
This also means her name is now Big Nellie Mk.II

During the conversion it was found that an ejection Seat was needed aswell as ejecting rotors to ensure the maximum safety of the pilot is the priority at all times!

A Martin-Baker Mk.10 ejection Seat taken from a retired ex RAF Hawk T.1a, it has been rebuilt to factory fresh condition and has been painted flat Silver and had Blue cushion colours fitted aswell as a brand new custom made harness in light brown and fitted.
