As flown in June 1988 between Gbadolite and Mpaka Lola farms with cargo of construction equipment and fuel drums.
Modifications to the Airfix kit:
-Short carburettor intakes on top of engine nacelles from Italeri kit
-Deletion of navigator/radio compartment
-kits's cabin seats not used
-Use of 4 seats fabric benches from Revell C-54 behind the cockpit
-Wood floor in cargo compartment
-Second emergency exit on right hand side - red exterior handles
-Scoops on top of fuselage
-Curtains at the end of cargo compartment abeam cargo door rear edge
-Scribe emergency cockpit exit on top of fuselage

I had to google her up (or even the 9Q prefix), but it's always nice to learn new things! And, on a more general note, you seem to have a liking for quite exotic birds - keep it up! 👍 👍
Indeed I like exotic birds (and US Navy ones too). This one is of peculiar importance to me. As a kid living in what was then Zaire, I had the opportunity to fly in it between Gbadolite and Mpaka Lola farmlands. My late dad who was a private pilot had the chance to fly on the right seat and even log the flights in his logbook while my older brother filmed with the VHS camera. Pilot was a flamboyant former Belgian Air Force F-84 and F-104 pilot...
