Bücker Bü-181 Bestman Panzerjagdstaffel

Military training aircraft, which at the end of the war was deployed in the defense of the collapsing Third Reich. In March 1945 an idea was born to use these planes as... tank destroyers. Mounted on the wings of four "Panzerfaust 100", fire was to be opened from a height of 20-30 meters at a distance of about 150 meters from the target.
The following copy served in the Panzerjagdstaffel formed in early April 1945. This particular machine escaped as early as 18 April to Switzerland, where it served until 1956.
