For this Nissan I designed and 3D printed a widebody kit inspired by the Pandem widebody kit. the body was painted with Zero paints filler primer, Audi nardo grey and the Diamond clear coat. To make it look even better a panel line accent was added.
It's a kit from Tamiya (24300) and I added a load of mods.
The engine that was in this kit was not up to my standard. It was molded into the body piece in a really ugly and hard to detail way so I removed it and replaced it with a VR38 kit from Factory81. the turbos in that kit were not very nice so I replaced them with bigger turbos. Wires were added and a dry sump system made from scratch (just some stock and a couple top studio hose joints).
Wheels are also from factory 81. can't find which they are anymore.
carbon decals are from Tamiya.
I also cut the front lip off, cut the middle section off and put the sides back on and made those flush with the body.
The ductail spoiler was made with a piece of plastic that was then molded with some putty to form this really awesome and clean looking (in my opinion) spoiler.
The turbos are covered in climbing tape that was painted gold with a black wash to resemble heat wrap. it's also on the exhaust. The tubing for it was scratch made to fit the car.
Now the part I'm actually the most proud of: the body kit. as mentioned before it's pandem inspired. I like this kit the best for this car. Parts that I designed are the fenders, splitter, diffuser and also the spoiler.
