MPM Productions A-20G in 1/72 scale. "D-Day Havocs". My representation of the "Queen Julia of the 646th BG in France, maybe August 1944. The invasion stripes have been overpainted to make them less visible from above, which considering these ships operated by coming in fast and low and hitting hard, was probably good thinking.
Certainly not my best work, but the important thing to me is that at least it's work. There are unsanded seams, splotches where they shouldn't be, and errors a-plenty. But I gotta admit, when she settled on her own three wheels for the first time I liked the look of her.
I oscillated between loving this build and dreading it, so I did what I always do and procrastinated. But when I finally hit the painting stage it took off and I found my rhythm again.
The modelling table is like a bomb site, I'm satisfied to have an outcome, and I hope you guys like it.
