Fit is exceptionally good!
First layer of color, Gunze H303 over AK Grey Primer AK758
Tamiya Olive Drab (XF-62) over AK Heavy Chipping and the scrubbed with a hard paintbrush soaked in water
Detail of the surface after a hard scrub
Gunze GX 100 varnish applied and ready for the final Olive Drab color (Gunze H52).
Preparing a Miniart house to serve as background, I do not like vacuform
Maybe the house is too tall for the tank?
Gunze H52 Olive Drab applied over AK Heavy Chipping and scrubbed with water

Painting and assembling wheels
Testing the layout
Tracks painted with Tamiya XF-63 German Grey and exposed part painted with Ammo Gun Metal (A.MIG-045); interior scrubbed with 8B pencil
Closing, applying decals, etc
Starting to prepare the stowage; painting wood, the board for the front stowage was made from styrene sheet, scratched with a resin saw
Trying the stowage; is the steel drum too much???
Test fitting stowage
Bits and bobs
Front rack painted and glued in place, Tamiya X-22 gloss varnish applied all over in preparations for the pin wash
Some weathering applied; still deciding what to do next, but I do not want to add much more and some cleanup to be done (example, in the rubber part of the wheels)

Some shadows on the building, with Tamiya X-19 Smoke and a brown wash of Ammo (A.MIG-1000) applied on the wood
Additional work on the mortar; pigments (Europe Earth A.MIG-3004) applied between the bricks
Added some debris to the first floor and corrected the peeling of the blue paint in the top of the wall; toned down the paintings' marks
Preparing the base with ground texture from AK and some sand; painted with Kursk Soil from Ammo, same color as the tank’s weathering
Tank glued to the base, integrating with the terrain
The excellent Alpine figures are glued in place - they were painted by my friend Paulo Rodrigues
All major elements glued in place, a lot of integrating to do now

Lovely technique, watching with interest. Looking nicely weathered already 🙂

Thank you Mr James, indeed it looks nice; however is still too light, I think Gunze's olive drab is a better color, which will go down next…

Thank you Evan; still considering if I should add an additional layer of a darker color for more recent mud, in much smaller areas...

Very nice. How is your experience with the Zvezda offering? I mean, it looks awesome but is that the kit or your skill (which do you figure is the leader. Your skill is not, NOT, in dispute)😊

Thanks mates; @Jonathon, the kit is really nice; fit is good and engineering is also good; it has no interior, no workable tracks or suspension, but I like the ease of build; I used no extras, not even for the tow cable 🙂

Thank you mates; the wood I used is a bit thick, but I hope the subsequent washes and pigments will help that

The destruction of the house is very cool. I'll take note of the execution technique

Thanks mate, I confess it's turning out better than expected; the Ammo book "How to make buildings" helped a lot

Mr James
Truly excellent figure painting. The M4 is brilliantly painted, weathered and distressed. I love the dusty mud application. The building is superbly done with the picture shadows on the walls and the great colour of the bricks. An all round beautifully made dio showing your excellent skills.
