1914 Stutz Bearcat
All parts removed from sprues and the bulk of the flash removed. Lots of clean up to be done.
Massive amounts of thin flash on this kit. Very easy to get rid of though.
All finished and looking resplendent in SMS Casino Blue and Jet Black, with Humbrol Leather for the trunk.

Album info
An old kit from 1974, from my father's stash. This one was actually made in New Zealand. The plastic was covered in flash with some gnarly seams on the small parts. All brass parts were stripped and painted in SMS Hyperchrome. The body is SMS Casino Blue with Jet Black on the mudguards and Humbrol Leather on the trunk. It mostly went together easily, but getting the mudguards and running boards attached was a bit tricky. It could have done with more sturdy mounting points. The tyres were in great condition. Not bad for a 50 year old kit.
