looking forward to your Super Bug, looks like we won't have to wait that long before it is finished? 🙂

well not that long, it should ready with in the next few weeks.
The fuselage is a little bit tricky, too mush junctures an too many part. But it looks good too me!
I would called a creative chaos

Creative chaos is well said! But the bird looks good, too! Is it the Revell-Kit?

I am planning a move to "men's scale" for my next model, it's about time I broke away from the "boys"! How does the Trumpeter kit compare to the Academy F-18C models which I know were generally good but had some awkward components such as the air intakes?

It put a smile on my face that you join the men´s scale community. good boy!!!
I thing that the surface detailing from the Academy Kit is better. It look more "crispy" maybe it dependent on the Plastic they use by Trumpeter. The Trumpeter plastic is from my point softer as the Academy that makes also the cockpit detail no that good as the F-18C. The air intake was not a problem it works quite well.

Fabulous Mr P, I'm glad to hear of your new love affair with Xtracrylics, they are my favourite paints of all time, I only wish that they had a bigger range of colours or that I could easily purchase Agama Paints in the UK.

A short update today. Working on the Wolfpack Seat with a liffle nasty surprise they didn´t fit into the cockpit. The seat´s are 3mm wider than the cockpit is. UPS!!!!!!!! I sand off the details on both side of seat. and then it fit´s. not that good but it looks good to me.
