Unlike at Wittmund for Phantom Pharewell a few weeks before, this time I was lucky as the weather cleared up in the early afternoon.
Ground crew at Nordholz were so kind to push the Lynx and Seaking in commomorative schemes out to the taxiway when the sun borke out - and they even turned them around for us photographers. 🙂

The winch on picture 18 is part of what type helicopter? Lynx?

I have about 1,000 more, half of that inside the maintenance hangars 🙂
Yes, page 18 is the winch/dipping sonar of the Lynx.
