The academy version is much better, mine fits poorly but then it is a a 1964 tooling 🙂
Liking the look of progress so far Gordon, nice to see you scratch building the interior, especially as none comes with the kit 🙂

Thanks Choppa. Not sure how much of the cockpit will be visible, but am sure a lot will be seen through the bubbles on the back of the fuselage.

yeah the back is a bit cavenous and without any detail in there it just looks odd, I've cheated on mine, I've just drawn in some detail with a black fine tip pen etc. inaccurate but effective 🙂

I would love to build one of those, but it would have to be 1/48. 1/72 is just to small I can't see it anymore. But I still have a ESCI 1/72 F-27 Spanish Navy that I keep holding onto.

Some Mr. Surfacer 1000 and some putty for the fuselage seems.
