Thanks. And yes some did have a searchlight (others had them removed after the cold war ([img1])). But that might be a great addition. Just have to figure out how to do that.

It's not that difficult, but if it's a first time... You can use some label tape ([img1]) to mask the panel, and then with a needle or sharp pin (for example : [img2]) you start scribing the inner contour without applying pressure and after a few passes you will feel the sciber tool will get some grip. Proceed till it's deep enough. When scribing along a line, it's good to start at the beginning of a line or in a corner, pull a line till almost at the end and finish the line from the other side. In this way you will avoid shooting over... After the scribing, finish by slightly sanding...
