High density styrofoam cut to shape and impaled...
...glued into position and drying
the classic kitty litter and white glue mix...
finished base pre-paint...the exposed roots are wires, the grass is scenic railroad stuff...
some textured spraypaint was added
some preliminary washing, weathering etc
the first coat of mud is added
test fitting unpainted accessories
the base is painted black...

Album info
This little mini dio will represent a T-26 captured by SS Division Totenkopf. Their field workshop has added a German radio and aerial, some pioneer tools, and some added armour plates. The original Russian radio and aerial have been removed.
