Thanks a lot guys 👍 I must admit assembling all these into one album gives me the urge to build another P-51, perhaps a camo South American version or a colourful ANG model. So many choices 🙂

Nice set, my fav is the Swiss one 🙂 Pity you didn't go for the boxart camo of the Revell boxing...😉

Very impressive Mustang paint work/panels etc, in which order of painting did you use. I am due to have a go at a 1:35 submarine and hope to achieve your expertise. Brilliant. Ps I don't use a airbrush.

Hi Mike, first of - those are one of the finest Mustangs I ever saw!
Could you please tell me more about the third one? Never saw those kind of markings. Is that also the new tool Airfix P-51D?

@komoras Thanks for the kind words 🙂 Yes, it's the new Airfix P-51D, a lovely little kit. The markings are from Haiti, and this aircraft as equipped with F-86 drop tanks. The markings are from this set:-

Album info
Although I tend to favour more obscure subjects, I can't resist the P-51. There are so many versions and an almost infinite choice of colour schemes.
