Imperssive to see! Thumbs up!! I got another one of theses Veterans in my stash. Does the kit still work? Did it become brittle over the Years? How about the decals?

Thank you for the compliments.I built it several years ago.
The kit has some fit issues in the nose area and the front leg was slightly bent and rather fine. Concerning the plastic, the polystyrene ages normally quite good and up to now I never had brittleness problems with older kits. Nevertheless discoloration may appear and rests of mould release agents might be hard to remove.
Today I would probably replace the decals by after market ones - mainly because the decals were slightly missprinted and rather sparse. Older decals may become brittle and I might be suitable to varnish them - but at the end you have no other chance than to test one decal.
