Thanks Gary, Erik, Sören, Eelco, Helmut, Spanjaard, Maciej, Stephen, Christian B, Christian R, Augie, and gorby! I really appreciate you all taking the time to comment and follow along with my project. IT means a lot to me.
Maciej, anything in particular you would like me to take pics of my stand? I can also share the process I use to make them as well, if anyone is interested...

If you had taken this beauty outside to shoot some pictures against the blue sky, I bet it would have looked like the real thing. What an awesome phantom!

Thanks Ice, Klaus, and Ricardo! I have built two Hasegawa Phantoms now, and the kits are really not bad, despite the fact they have now apparently have been surpassed by the Academy and ZM kits. I have not built either of those two yet so I can't really compare the builds. The Hasegawa is a pretty easy build, no real problem areas anywhere... I did not use very much putty at all. Also, if you want to build a long nose Phantom, Hasegawa is still the only game in town.

F-4J from Academy will be the next once I finally finish the Hasegawa F-4J in the bench. i must say i was a bit disappointed with Hasegawa. and now looking at the box of Academy, detail seems a lot crispier (pylons are even better than some aftermarket that i got for the Hasegawa). the amount of weapons included in the Academy is incredible, with Hasegawa, you basically need to buy their weapons set or other after market sets.....

Hasegawa got the message and has started offering weapons. Check their latest Eurofighter and Su-35 boxings in 1/72.
