I am holding the beast so you can see the size of it. (50 inch span) The wings outboard of the wheels were made removeable for transport.

This is a scratchbuilt North American Harvard (50 inch wingspan) built by my late father Clarke Sheppard. It is entirely made of balsa and plywood except for the wheels, prop, and some other bits. He drew up the plans and constructed the whole airframe and then I did the interior and painting and markings. It now hangs in the City of Moncton Transportation Discovery Centre in New Brunswick, Canada.
