They're lovely models, I stumbled on the series by accident. I wanted a decent 1:72 DH-88 as the old Airfix tool is so bad now. I found the DH-88 Trail Blazer first. Months later I stumbled on the S6B, another favourite, also a Trail Blazer, so I wondered what else made up the full set... 🙂

Yes considering there over 50 years old they are still better than some of Airfix's releases from around that time. I built the Southern Cross a few years ago and it still looks great. But i did use a decal sheet from a more recent Russian reboxing! The best DH.88 kit would be the recent resin SBS Models release.
I also have the Australian BP release of the Vickers Vimy model and i did the Graphics for the decals that Red Roo models released some years ago for G-EAOU. As i couldn't find decals for that anywhere!

Superb! I have the SBS in my Wishlist.
I took a look at your stash Glenn, and spotted the BP Vimy. Lovely!
We appear to have a lot of similar interests amongst our respective collections! 🙂
