Lockheed S-3B Viking N601NA NASA
Does the Goffy Cockpit fit?
Cockpit and wheel well trimmed to fit
Front Office painted
Experience with the Decals, not overwhelming
Sanded the stuff off...
masked ...
and painted with airbrush
Highly detailed wheel well
Avionics bay
Hopefully the original has no plexiglass here 🙂
My first home made decals applied
And this is how she looks now
Test placement in the display cabinet
Another view of the finished white beauty

Thanks for your nice comment, Alec. Tbh, she did cost me a lot of work and stamina to go through, this was my first larger project after a real long break. And now having her in the display case was worth all the effort 🙂
There are some more NASA planes to come, as you can see in my stash...

This is awesome.... Amazing work!!!
I live very close to NASA Glenn (which is in Cleveland, OH), in fact an ex of mine used to work there. So this has some connection to me. I think I will have to build one of these some day too.
Thanks for sharing!
