Soviet Airfield Diorama

N-scale figures, some will be repainted in military uniforms to be placed in/on the control tower, scenery,.... 

design for the main building with control tower. styrene is already cut out, but will need additional cutting for the windows. also, the trees for the scenery have arrived. 

first rough design for the shelter front. 

the cars to be placed next to the main building, i decided to leave off the trucks. 

this is the kind of aircraft shelter im planning. 

layout, preliminary paintwork for the tarmac has begun, sides for the hangar foundation can be seen on the top of the picture. 

top: back of the shelter. bottom: the front of the shelter, made from foamcard. 

although not clearly visible, this is the inside of the shelter, its already primed, but needs a lighter color of grey. also, the lighting needs to be painted.
