Just started that journey yesterday 🤔
quite some issues to overcome - but I found the part of the fin that is not in the instruction already 😄
added some styrene here and there
did some dry fit of the engine rear section and the main hull - the tensionless state can be seen in the picture above
getting the shape of the eduard engine cone to the hull will be a nice sanding party I think 😄

no matter how much aftermarket eduard can throw into these boxes, these are crappy kits and they will still be crappy kits.
been there done that the their danger zone and i will not touch any eduard reboxings ever. good luck with the build Stephan.

Thank you Dave and Murad, you're welcome 🙂
@ Murad, I agree I also thought after the Mig Kits that this would be the same quality
But whatever I have to overcome those issues🤔

Not that much progress on that till weeks
I first had to move my mancave from the roof :-D and had to do an investment into a compressor
now my life is much quiter :-D
I glued the gun muzzle into position - had to do a lot of sanding
finished the air intake - also a lot of sanding
and glued everything into place - but the fit is not that nice - a lot of sanding will follow when I close the hull 🤔

Hi Stephan! Interesting build! May I ask why you chose to put the Tamiya front fuselage section in? If you have the Tamiya kit, why not build that kit?

Thank you Thomas take a seat🙂
@Patrick - the Front fuselage came with the Eduard kit - there is no other option 🤔
The nose section doesn't fit at all - I will post some pictures this afternoon

So, that is the original Kinetic front fuselage? Strange that it has different colored plastic. In picture 16 you plugged two holes with putty, those should be open! Those are heat exchanger vents and have a metallic liner on the inside.

Also note the one on top of the fuselage directly under the tailfin.

Yes indeed it needs some filler... 😄
@ Patrick - yes I know that there need to be some holes ... the whole who were there, were to big and looked ugly... so I closed them to get some stabile ground for drilling the right ones
but thank you for telling me - by the way I have the same reference picture...
nose section is now sanded and rescribed...
next is the aft section...

Cool Viper the camo is great! The scenery where you show the bird is also very nice 👍

Stephan, did you "ungloss" the figures? They look much better now (my opinion) 👍 👍 👍

Looks like it was a rather difficult build, but it turned out great! Nice presentation and figure painting too! 👍

Thank you Thomas, Christian and Björn your comments are much appreciated 🙂
@ Björn - I needed a lot of patience putty and sanding paper to get it into shape
