So a small progress update, had to resort to using the padding to handle the kit and not wear the finish off it.

wow, getting a good metal finish is hard enough with the airbrush, the fact that you can do it with a brush, never ceases to amaze me.....

Very nice work Augie, and a two seater to boot.😢 I really need to finish decaling my Lightning and get her finished, but I'm in Cat mode at the moment.

Thanks Timothy,
The kit is actually not that bad, needs some fetteling to fit right but all in all its pretty good really.
Some bits fit well others need a good chunk of dry fitting. I'd actually happily recommend the kit regardless.
Decals are the best surprise of the kit, nice and thin and they take to the kit with minimal of micro sol.

Very well done, I like it. Maybe I will build mine after I finish the Harrier.

Looks good Augie. I just did the 1/72 Airfix kit and really liked that one. I was figuring on grabbing their 1/48 kit if I do another one, but if you like this one, that gives me another option.

Thanks Don,
The sword kit is a good kit, needs a little care and attention and will need work on flash around parts. Far as two seaters go, its the only game in town really. the only alternative is a conversion kit.
In reality, the airfix in 1:48 needs the same attention i'd say.

I finished the Harrier today. The Lighting will be on hold, as I am scheduled for my hip replacement on Sept 14. So will be out of commission for a while.
