MQ-1 Predator (WIP)
Wings have a slight bend upwards - built a amal jig to correcto on hot water...
...forgot about it...
...now I have a ruined kit.
New wings arrived from China! 🙂
Some covering of details not used in this version and a light sand
Some putty, nothing too problematic
Pre-shading
Painting with Gunze H308 FS36375
Stripe colors painted on the missiles
Black parts painted Tamiya NATO Black
Tape removed
Small patch of FS36375 painted
Discovered the Ammo FS36375 Color is lighter that the one from Gunze
Difference between the two FS36375... trying to trick the eye on the tail...
This wash is too white, I'll lower it a bit later
Preparing the base
The front will take a toothbrush straw, flexible, will not break... I hope! 🙂
Lightening the whole plane with a very diluted mix of FS36375 and white
RBF tags attached
Tail protector done with Tamiya tape and CA glue on top
Starting to lay the first basic colors on the figure - still a looong way to go... 🙁
Finishing with oils for shadows and highlights; after that, matt varnish
Finished

No. In the kit, they are slightly bent upwards. When I tried to correct them to stay straight, I ruined them... 🙁
