![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/7/6/9/451769-11437-18-720.jpg)

![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/7/7/5/451775-11437-16-720.jpg)
I printed a photo of the engine in the right size, and glued it on a piece of sheet

I will use the tamiya inner wings pylons, so the tanks need some new holes, and the wings need attachment points as wel (see green circles).
![Album image #27 Album image #27](/albums/img/7/9/2/451792-11437-24-720.jpg)
Tanks have the same position. Good!

![Album image #38 Album image #38](/albums/img/8/0/3/451803-11437-10-720.jpg)
Grey, but a bit metallic.

![Album image #40 Album image #40](/albums/img/8/0/5/451805-11437-58-720.jpg)
And some HB pencil dust, applied with a q-tip. A metallic shine, but not too heavy.
![Album image #41 Album image #41](/albums/img/8/0/6/451806-11437-89-720.jpg)
I like it, really! 🙂

Tail part. make sure you don't mix up the top and bottom colour, as I did the first attempt. Well, s**t happens!
![Album image #45 Album image #45](/albums/img/8/1/0/451810-11437-17-720.jpg)
The ordnance of the Viper. Not bad for a "light fighter"

Looking good! Did you go for a silverish finish? It seems that there are metallic specles all over the aircraft.

Thanks! Yes, the "have glass" is a pain to paint. It's not glossy, but has a clear metallic shine, without being too metallic like alu. Image #40 captures what I think looks good. Unfortunately, the effect wanished again a bit after the gloss cote for the decals. Still happy with the result.

Hi Alex, did you know Tamiya has a full options version of this same kit that comes with gasbags and HARMs? Could have saved you a lot of trouble... I like your Have Glass though! 👍

Yeah, I know, I was too quick buying the first release. I should have waited a bit more.

Thanks Alex! Yes the "Have Glass" paint is a real pain. The greek Block 52+ Vipers are a prime example of "Have Glass" painting. Depending on the angle of light what you see will vary from pretty silverish to rather bland.
