Moin Holger , nichts so Anderes, Helis habe ich immer wieder in Arbeit,nur der Chinook hat einige Teile MEHR, die Waffenplattform ist echte Arbeit 😉 schau einfach mal nach meinen Flettner 282 V21 und V6 , gerade die V6 könnte Dich ja interessieren, das Muster war ja bei der KM im Testeinsatz und der Testpilot hat im Einsatz sein Leen lassen müssen
@ Ice Danke, das hat mich auch echte Überwindung gekostet, ist ja Neuland für mich, selbst die Bremmsleitungen habe ich ja meiste verweigert 😄
Moin Holger, nothing so different, helicopters I have always in work, only the Chinook has some parts MORE, the weapons platform is real work 😉 just look for my Flettner 282 V21 and V6, just the V6 could interest you, The pattern was in the KM in the test and the test pilot has to be in action to let Leen

As I can remember I once build a CH47 SOA italeri 1/72nd, and I had to cut out the side pontoons and replace them with larger ones, the dmm things almost met up with the wall a few times. A tip find a solution for the rotors to be removable for storage and transportation of the model, or else you'll be re-attaching rotorblades frequently.

Thanks for the nice words, but there is still a lot of work and sweat, the fit is questionable for a kit from 2006, but Italeri said only, new tool, one has the feeling the forms are still from 1970

WOW! the gap on the windscreen was horrible. What did you do to close up the gaps?

Hello Bryn Crandell, yes it was really frightening, first one side of the straight piece with Revell glue dry, but it pressure from the front on everything, from the solid piece then each strut piece by piece and always the good old Revell glue, he holds better and more stable than the Tamiya, but without gap it does not work, from below it needs about 1.5 mm filling

Hey Jens, thanks for the link. You did a phenomenal job building this bird up, especially liked the wiring/hydraulics plumbing through the cabin. Also the detail on the cockpit instrument cluster, looks like engine number 2 is running a little hot! That is a LOT of detail. It's a shame really, if you didn't have the photos as proof, it would be very difficult to see it. But I know why you work so hard to make it look so real, the satisfaction of pulling it off and the challenge, it looks awesome! Same goes with the engines. I did notice that there is a line of filler around the entire engine strut, did you have to cut out the kit engines and fit an aftermarket engine?

Either way, she looks gorgeous, is she big as well? Some people that have built the MH/CH-53E in 48 scale, talk about how huge the kit is. Just wonder if this is even bigger? Be a while before I get one, as I have other projects in line before her, but it also is a matter of finding one when I have the money to buy it, just hope those two variables meet soon.

but in turn, there are no resin parts installed,
the spatula on the turbine nacelle is an acrylic spatula picclick.com/Perfect..&gid=1&pid=1, easy and quick to process 👍
Cockpit and weapons are taken from the Eduard BiG Ed Set or improved in the self-built something
the "burn marks" at the turbine exit are pure colors of Alclad a brass and aluminum, to Mr. Color of Gunze something Ror, blue, brown, pure yellow and different shades of gray
I have used cannulas 1.2 mm 0.8 mm and brass tube 0.6 mm as tube for the Seten weapons
The cables and wires are made of copper and lead wire, thickness between 0.4 and 0.8 mm
Base colors Exterior Olive Drab by Model Master, Interior Light Gray Mr. Color and Interior Green by Alclad
almost forgotten, silver wire 0,6 mmfor the feathers of the cannons

Thank you friends for the nice words 🙂 The AHC 47 Chinook was such a model I was looking for a long time, but the BiG Ed Set by Eduard was a hit and miss that could be found like gold on the bench, the big disappointment was then the plastic from Italeri, from so modern forms so many flaws, but it's done and it was the model in 2018 with the most extra work 🙂 Your compliments will make you forget all the trouble, but the next CH 47 Chinook will be 1:35 Trumpeter probably has the better shapes 😄
