Next to do .. is primer ... But , i have a question , the 2 pieces off the canopy , how do you guy's put it on the plane so its do not move , and how do you fix it that no overspray is go under this canopy , i want to put al little masking fluid untherneed , but , can i loose this fluid when i'm ready with airbrushing ? Many Thanks for your input ...

Donald Dickson II
Very much liking this!
29 December 2018, 20:28
Maciej Bellos
A drop of mikro krystl clear on both sides of the canopy could do the job. Or some patafix or blue tack.
29 December 2018, 21:15
Ronny Verlaek
Hey Maciej , many thanks , i will use blue tack ...
29 December 2018, 21:53
Donald Dickson II
Missed the question. Yep, I use blue tack also

Most off the decals ar on , the decalsolution , TAMIYA DECAL SOFTER MARK FIT and MARK FIT STRONG i used for this decals. I tried to remove the white spots , leftovers from this decal solution. I can not remove them , i tried a degreaser, oderless thinner, dasty , nothing worked ? !!! what do i have to use to remove this leftovers ? Can i just sand it off , with a 1500 grid sandpaper ?
7 January 2019, 18:07
Maciej Bellos
Have you tried to spray the varnish again at the problematic spots?
7 January 2019, 19:02
Ronny Verlaek
Hey Maciej , No ... i dont want to do this , when the spots are not gone after varnish then i have even bigger problems .. 😉 I will try it when nothing else will work ...
7 January 2019, 19:21
Clifford Keesler
Hope you get it sorted out.
7 January 2019, 23:39
Donald Dickson II
Wow, I have never seen decal solution do that. I think about your only choice if all that didnt work is indeed very careful sanding with 1500.
8 January 2019, 03:09
Maciej Bellos
How did you fix it?
8 January 2019, 17:51
Ronny Verlaek
OK , i'm verry happy today, Maciej i used a polish sponge, green side first and the white spots dissapeard after 15 minutes off polishing, after the varnish coat, no more white spots to see ... Pfooeee ... lucky me ... 🙂 Tomorrow i wil varnish the underside and then i will start the wheatering .... lessons learned , after decals i will clean the residue after 5 minutes the decals are on ...
8 January 2019, 17:54

Coming along nicely. Those decal spots are a pain sometimes. Glad to see you were able to make them disappear. I've done the smae as you to get rid of them.
17 January 2019, 21:44
Ronny Verlaek
Hey Bryn, Spanjaard , Yes yes , its now a verry slow process to finish this bird, i'm verry happy that i solved this problem with the residue from this decal solution. The ENGINE is now on the desk and its 60% done. Ready for the next varnish layer and some further wheathering.
