Supermarine SpitfireMkIa; 610 squadron RAF Biggin Hill 1940
major parts cleaned and ready for initial assembly
quite a nice details for 1/72 kit
spinner glued together (everything will be the same color)
inside of the fuselage painted
cockpit ready for installation to the fuselage
one or two places which required small amount of filler and light sand and primer was next
Mr. Sufracer 1200 thinned 50/50 with levelling thinner - best result every time in my opinion
small bits and bobs ready for paint and weathering
top and bottom surfaces masked and sprayed with MRP colors (top camo masked with MR. Hyde Masking Putty)
after removing the masking and the putty the final camo at least
small parts sprayed and ready for installation
2 -3 coats of gloss varnish to get the surface nice and shiny and it's time for decals
decals were quite thick but easy to work with.
two or three application of Microscale soft worked almost everytime, only two or three places needed more persuasion with X20A
Now the spit will get one or two thin coats of matt varnish and weathering will be next
A little bit of weathering on the bottom surfaces
and FINISH! 🙂
finally together with her little friend
Really nice kit. Highly recommended!

Definitely. It's really good stuff. One just need to be aware that this stuff is like cold lava (it flows over time). Have a search for this stuff. AK is selling one, same stuff is also sold under the name Panzer putty.
The best results are if you place the stuff on the model and spray the colors right away. I left small snakes over night and sprayed the model the next day (see Mig-15 over Korea) and it was fine. but the snakes were slightly bigger. I was happy with the result, you just need to be aware that this stuff is constantly flowing. I hope this short summary will help.😉 Cheers!
