Looks promising Casey! Interesting story too. But you shouldn't have opened the aux doors, only the CF-5A/B and NF-5A/B had them. The Norwegians had plain F-5s..

Also beware of the front wheel leg. Yours is an aftermarket type for the F-20(and maybe also for the F-5E and NF-5A). This type could be "hiked" and is recognizable because of the oleo leg torque link is at the back of the strut. F-5A's(except the CF and NF-5A and F-5E/F) have the torque link at the front of the leg.

Popped open second CF-5 kit, corrected the aux door mistake Erik politely pointed out, have a contest in 3 weeks. Contest theme is "All things Recce" so this is getting bumped to the front of the bench.
The Kelik 3d set is AMAZING, I can highly recommend them, I have ordered more.
Front gear leg will be a correct version with the scissors forward, and the front gear "hiked" 13 scale inches (more or less!) as Norwegian jets did this to increase attitude on takeoff roll.
Adding some bits from the Wolfpack photoetch set, most noticeable in the gear wells and at the exhaust area.
PJ Productions pilot will fit perfectly without any body part removal such as feet!
Love these ESCI F-5s.
May be adding a Recce Kfir RC-2 with Tzniut nose if this keeps going this well.
