Custom 1:64 diecast cars
I call this the Frankenstein gasser because its built with a modified body casting and engine from one car, chassis and wheels from another, and some scratch-built parts. My first 1:64 scale custom diecast.
Moon tank and header ends are scratch-built, decals are leftovers from various kits.
Scratch-built drag chute and rear bumper.
Customized Hot Wheels Boneshaker. I added a roof and did a custom paint job. Wheels are from another car.
Trunk details were painted.
Velocity stacks and header pipes were drilled out.
'51 Willys pickup from Matchbox. I swapped the wheels and repainted the truck, and did a bit of weathering.
Hot Wheels Shoebox ('49 Ford Coupe) with custom patina paint and custom decals. The car was weighted and the wheels tuned for racing.
Maisto '56 Ford F-100 with custom patina paint
Maisto '56 Ford tow truck with scratch-built tow rig.
Matchbox '49 Chevy truck with swapped wheels, custom paint and decals.
Matchbox '49 Chevy trucks: one a beater, the other a custom shop truck.
