Vultee Vengeance, re-visited years later.
The landing gear doors were at least three times as thick, and looked dreadful. So... filed down I think they look much better.
A light clear coat has brought out the colours and got rid of the 'dry' appearance.
Re-visiting paintwork, hoping to improve the finished appearance.
Aerial added, etc.
Some weathering but not the neatest....
I should re-visit the exhaust staining, as if now has clear coat over the original streaks.
Underside weathering.

Funny how the colours change according to which image we look at. Nice model for me.

Thanks for your 'likes' everyone, and kind words Olivier and Mark. This kit was heavily discounted having been water-damaged. The box had been a soggy mess but the contents were fine 🙂

Two years on, and I think it's improved further...I hope you agree 😉

Ancient kit, but still an enjoyable build. Dodgy decals? Nothing that can't be rectified if one wanted to. Lots of fun for less than the cost of a coffee!
