So here she is... Huge flat kite, almost did not fit into the 60x60cm photobooth I have... As a proper stealth, capturing it even on photos was a nightmare... 11 usable pics is all I´ve got, the nose was virtually touching the ceiling of the booth 🙂
Build was fun, although there is not so much to build, basically put the two halves together with lots of glue & there you go... The paintjob is the really interesting part & I tried a lot of things I´m not likely to try anywhere else, so ended happy as one can be... 🙂

A Hammer - Model! The finish is more then spectacular!! I'm curious how would be look the model on combination with true sky? Perhaps you could shot any pictures and remove the bar in PS?

Awesome result, Slavo! 👍
You gave this deadly flying flounder a really great look, very inspirational. 😮
Need to build one too, some day.
I am thinking about an in-flight presentation for some of my future projects too.
Is there anything important to keep in mind or does one just drill a hole, put some glue on the stick and put the aircraft on top?
I gues the right material for the stick, keeping the models weight in mind.
Awesome result, Slavo! 👍

All hail the halibut!
Stunning result really - it looks fast, it looks heavy and super deadly. Possibly the coolest mixture of dirty and glossy I've seen so far 👍
Also I very much appreciate the belly, maybe a bit too clean 😉

Well, after scrolling through the album, and the album with the completed model, I still am speechless. Slavo, it is a pleasure to watch in what you excel. Planes and painting/weathering. Your signature is once more set with this build

Thanks a lot mates to every one of you for all your super-motivating comments! I am really happy you approve of all the artistic freedoms I took here 🙂
@Patrick - no worries, I almost missed the build myself, had a multi-month mojo-dive before working myself back to the bench 😄
@Bernhard - I was actually thinking about trying it here, the shape & absence of perturbing parts on the simple shape may be a good start...
@WhiteGlint - so far I've put 50% of my models "in-flight" - I use simple metal rods, mostly stolen from gardening equipment to be honest 🙂 Not trying to make them invisible or anything + if needed, I put a glob of Miliput on the inside to achieve a better hold...
@Daniel, thanks, means a lot from someone who gives every panel on a Hornet/Tomcat a name and treats it as an individual artwork 😉
@Lode, we all have our "hobbies within the hobby" - I really enjoyed the freedoms of the "what if" here...
@Jos - thanks bud & hope to see some new jet power from you soon! What about that Tornado idea lately? 😉

Pretty soon Slavo...due to private issues I haven't done much lately, but the MOJO is back...stay tuned!
As for the Tornado, this Revell kit was a much have, the best on the market right now. I have some unfinished projects that I will want to finish before opening a new kit.

While there are many words (most of which used by all the mates above) that could describe this Black Widow, I will use just one: SPLENDID. Thank you Slavo for such a feast and how the '23' would have looked like. I don't know if you did it on purpose, but the dark grey on the upper surface resembles a ghost. As she would be, up there in the sky, spookily lurking from afar to scare the sh!t out of anybody daring to come closer...

Thanks Jos, Neuling, Daniel, Kerry, Mark & Maciej!
@Jos - any of your ongoing builds or a new one, will stay in active scan mode! 😉
@Daniel - "shiny shenanigans" 😉
@Maciej - thank you very much my friend for all that praise, happy you like it! And yes, the grey shape was done with purpose in mind, a kind of a "winged horror" on the back of the (huge) airframe... when you do "what if", I guess there is room to go...
@Kerry - yeah the 5th / 6th gen, or does the 4+ Gen still have a say Rock/Paper/Scissors discussions - love the topic... Funny to think that if everything recent+ is 6-th Gen then 5-th gen was a 2-type US-only affair with F22/35 😄 And now that everyone is dreaming 6-th Gen, the US re-vives the idea of building long.-range trucks with the F-15EX...

Who s kidding who on this x generation of 'aircraft'. ?
Anti gravity vehicles are close to being revealed as the way to have dominance in the skyes.
Bob Lazar told us this, years ago. Cool running and no 'signature' left behind for any possible 'lock on'.
Build one of what you think it may look like.:-/

Cheers Kerry - I guess if everyone agrees the flying saucer is the most dangerous/futuristic/effective "weapon of the future" then the Air Force has to comply 🙂
Thanks Roland & James - the MiG´s now getting attention again:

Northrop Grumman have pitched an evolution of the YF-23 to Japan for its F-3 program so we may yet see it produced in some form.

As always Slavo, your painting and weathering skills are masterful - truly inspiring! 👍👍👍
Regardless of the realism of such an appearance (regarding your small discussion in the build thread), this is definitely an eye catching model and I agree with the notion of maybe doing some pictures of it with the real sky - perhaps even on sunset, as in the digital artwork.

I love the artistic what-if paint scheme - and the painting details on the engine - sublime!

Finished build of:
Scalemates 5th Generation, UAV, and Stealth Groupbuild 2021 | Album by slavatarko (1:48)
As a proper stealth fighter (alas, never to happen for service...), the F-23 was really difficult to capture, even on photos. Mainly due to size, it hardly even fit in my photo booth...
Interesting project and lot of fun with sheen & fantasy look 🙂
