Fuselage halves joined. The lack of locator pins was somewhat meddlesome but in the end everything lined up okay. There’ll be a bit of filling and sanding, but not too bad…

Wings on… in hindsight I should have sanded down the piece that forms the wing spar and wheel well bulkhead more considerably that I did. Being just a touch too thick made an odd bulge in the wing roots leading to lots of filler and sanding work. I think I’ve got to standard though…

Topsides done in RLM70 and 71. Had a minor crisis when one of the wing root joints popped after I dropped the model on the work top. I solved it with lots of sanding, filling, sanding, painting, and swearing…

Decals applied, some touch up paint done, and a bit of weathering done. Last steps will be applying the fiddly parts like the exhaust stacks and landing gear, and a final round of touch up tomorrow…
