Stunning is indeed the word of the day here! But it's not smaller than the Fokker E.V in all dimensions, the propeller is by far larger. It must've been a monster in the air when the tested it.

Thank you mates!
Regarding the pictures I had a bit of luck today in this grey and dark November: the sun comes out for some moments between the clouds and fog. I used this small time slot immediately. Not nice summer pictures but somehow nice.
Urban, thank you for mention this! The Fokker used a 110hp rotary, the Aviatik 150~160hp, that needs a bigger prop! I have build the Siemens-Schuckert with the (up to) 210hp rotary (see my projects). At the beginning they tried a 2 blade, but the legs was sooo long, it was impossible to land. So they moved to a 4-blade and that one is still huge (we have an original one here in Munich at a museum).
Thank you mates!

Beautiful build, Bughunter!
Daylight shots look awesome, almost like photos of the real airplane. 👍

Very nice to read your comments here 👍 Thx mates!
Bernhard, you are right!

Thank you very much Benjamin, also for digging out this non-recent build.
I always try to make the model as close to reality as possible, but don't we all try to do that? This time mission accomplished 🙂

Album info
Today I can show the most light weight fighter of the Austria-Hungary: the Aviatik 30.40 with an empty weight of 366 and fully loaded 586kg. It was developed to use the planned production in Steyr of powerful 11-cylinder Le Rhone rotary engines with up to 160hp. Only 35 engines of 150 planned was delivered, and there was a shortage of Voltol oil not delivered by Germany as expected.
So only a prototype was build and flight tested and no serial production was started.
